Virginia Avenue Baptist Church is a fellowship of Christians who seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the head of our church—He is the supreme leader. Therefore, we seek to know His will by reading and studying His inerrant written word, the Bible. We seek to apply His will by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. And we pray to God the Father through God the Son that “His will be done.”

• Everything begins and ends with Jesus. Our commitment to him, his word, and his work is demonstrated by bold preaching focused on the Gospel and reordering every area of life to the Gospel.

• The Bible is the Word of God and everything we believe, say, and do is founded upon it. Our preaching, discipleship, and counseling are rooted in the all-sufficiency of the Bible.

• We want to grow day by day in our walk with Jesus, the Bible, and each other. We are committed to helping people find and follow Jesus.
